The Impact You will Make in this Role:
Technical engineering role reporting to the Cloud, CNF & DC Network Supervisor. Engineer focused on one or more network technologies and related services in the Cloud, CNF & DC.
Collaborate, support, and influence strategic managed service partner(s) and vendors. Collaborate with and support Network Architect, Network Automation team, Site Network Services team, Network PMO team, IT Security organization, Area Infrastructure organizations and other global IT product
teams.
The role of the team includes planning, designing, implementing, managing, and supporting technology devices and services alongside strategic managed service partners.

- Individual contributor with self-driven approach for career and skills development and workload prioritization
- Vendor collaboration including continuous improvement of managed service partners and OEMs
- Technology and Services scope includes one or more of: network technologies and related services in the Cloud, CNF & DC
- Support program/project planning, and budget expense information gathering and management activities
- Support execution of technology and service strategy
- Compliance to service level targets, hardware and code lifecycle, vulnerability remediation
Your Skills and Expertise:
- To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum)the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
- Broad network knowledge, with some depth in automation capabilities: scripting languages, integration management systems, automation management systems; for network technologies and related services
- Logical reasoning and information-driven decision making approach
- Strong trouble-shooting skills, complex incident management response, demonstrated experience of problem and root-cause investigation
