Role Overview

The **Team Leader** will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the **Invoice Processing** teams, ensuring that performance targets are met. This includes providing guidance, resolving client issues, and training team members. The Team Leader will also assist the manager with office duties, project distribution, and performance evaluations. This role requires a proactive leader who can motivate their team and step in to assist when necessary.

Primary Responsibilities

As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the Invoice Processing and Quality Control teams to ensure deliverables are met.
  • Resolving client and staff questions and issues efficiently.
  • Maintaining regular communication with US counterparts on operational matters.
  • Handling leave management for the team and ensuring proactive communication with US teams.
  • Driving quarterly process improvements within the team.
  • Training and mentoring new and existing staff members to enhance performance.
  • Escalating issues to management when needed to avoid delays.
  • Assisting in the evaluation of team and individual performance.
  • Participating in the interview and selection process for new team members.
  • Coaching and counseling team members to promote continuous growth.
  • Flexibly managing additional tasks as per business requirements.

Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate should meet the following qualifications:

  • Minimum **5 years of overall work experience**, with at least **2 years** in leading teams in **BPM/ITeS operations**.
  • **Bachelor’s degree** or equivalent required.
  • Proficient in **Microsoft Office products**, particularly **MS Excel & PowerPoint**.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Strong experience in **data analysis**, **problem-solving**, and **root cause analysis**.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
