Role Overview
The Social Impact Leader will oversee current partnerships, develop new collaborations, and support social entrepreneurs. Working closely with various stakeholders, this role involves managing programs, creating communication strategies, and driving meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Co-create, manage, and monitor partnerships and programs.
- Assess potential new partners and opportunities based on strategic goals.
- Implement Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) frameworks to track program progress.
- Collaborate with IKEA teams on program development and execution.
- Research new markets, sectors, and stakeholders to identify growth opportunities.
- Capture communication opportunities and coordinate with the communications team.
- Support the expansion of IKEA’s social entrepreneurship initiatives.
Qualifications and Qualities
- Experience managing complex projects and programs with multiple stakeholders.
- Knowledge of social enterprises, social businesses, or NGOs is highly preferred.
- Strong relationship-building and networking skills.
- Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to deliver results in a dynamic environment.
- Proficient communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring teams or individuals.
- Understanding of impact measurement and theory of change is a plus.
- Business experience within IKEA is beneficial but not mandatory.
