Role Description

The Relationship Manager in the Credit Program is tasked with acquiring and managing a diversified portfolio of clients within the IBG 4 segment. This involves providing services such as asset financing, trade, cash, treasury, and other fee-based services to clients in the mid-market sector. You will be expected to achieve healthy revenue streams and contribute to the profitability of the business while managing risk and maintaining a zero delinquency rate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acquire new clients (companies with a turnover of INR 200 crores to 600 crores) in the IBG 4 segment, in line with the bank’s lending policies.
  • Ensure proper loan sanctioning and disbursement in collaboration with the Risk and Operations teams.
  • Manage and grow the portfolio to ensure healthy profitability while maintaining zero delinquencies.
  • Cross-sell various banking products such as liabilities, trade, cash management, and treasury solutions.
  • Lead marketing activities to generate leads and new business opportunities.

Candidate Requirements

  • 3-4 years of prior sales experience, ideally in the banking or financial sector.
  • Good understanding of the sales process and market knowledge within the Mid-market/SME segment.
  • Experience in sales of liabilities, cash management, cash credit, overdrafts, and term loans is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build lasting client relationships.
