Role Summary
The Analyst, Sales Manager position at DBS Bank is designed for an experienced leader to manage the Consumer Loan Against Property (LAP) business. The role includes recruiting and training sales teams, ensuring productivity, and driving the profitability of all assigned branches. You will be instrumental in customer acquisition, cross-selling, and managing branch operations in line with DBS’s strategic goals.
Key Accountabilities
- Recruit and train sales teams to drive Consumer LAP business.
- Ensure productivity targets are met by District Sales Teams (DSTs).
- Coordinate catchment mapping and marketing activities for business expansion.
- Oversee the profitability and portfolio quality of the LAP business.
- Work closely with branch banking teams to foster growth and cross-sell products.
- Implement corporate office initiatives and ensure compliance with company policies.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure manpower requirements are met according to budgeted numbers.
- Ensure DSTs follow the sales process and participate in key marketing activities.
- Develop strategies to ensure all sales targets and key performance indicators are met.
- Collaborate with branch teams to handle customer visits and leads efficiently.
- Monitor and report on the performance and portfolio quality of the loan business.
Job Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in sourcing business loans, including Loan Against Property or MSME business.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in team leadership and development.
- Graduation or Post Graduation in a relevant field.
- Strong sales, business development, and relationship management skills.
- Excellent strategic planning, resource allocation, and team development abilities.
- Proficiency in banking knowledge, digital tools, and market networking.
- Self-motivated, with a proven track record of meeting sales targets in a competitive environment.
