Position: Procurement Buyer II

Location: Pune, Maharashtra, India

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage procurement activities and ensure timely acquisition of goods and services.
  • Expedite past due orders and handle return goods processes.
  • Maintain supplier relationships and resolve order-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
  • Support the procure-to-pay process, including invoice resolution.
  • Coordinate delivery schedules with suppliers and logistics teams.
  • Ensure procurement turnaround time (TAT) and maintain MIS reports.
  • Identify and implement Auto PO commodities for process automation.
  • Develop strategic sourcing plans to optimize cost and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Engineering, Bachelor’s degree, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software such as SAP (MM Tcodes).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the manufacturing industry or project-based procurement.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards.
  • Familiarity with supplier management and corrective action processes.
