Your future team and role

As a Group Product Manager on the Jira Service Management team, you will join one of Atlassian’s fastest growing products to lead three teams in delivering exceptional experiences to help seekers across our channels — Web, Chat, and Email.

Reporting to the Senior Group Product Manager of the Support Mission, your work will directly impact tens of thousands of customers and hundreds of thousands of users.

Qualifications

What you’ll do:

  • You’ll work to deeply understand the ITSM/ESM space and develop strong empathy for help seekers to invent the future of service.
  • You’ll build a shared vision and strategy, empower your teams, and deliver high-quality outcomes
  • You will manage a team of passionate product managers to improve their craft and support their growth.
  • You will collaborate primarily with your distributed Jira Service Management colleagues across India and Australia, but also with Atlassian stakeholders around the world.

Your background

  • 8+ years of Product Management experience.
  • You have strong recent experience in customer-facing products with a heavy UX focus in the Enterprise SaaS space. Experience in the ITSM or ESM space would be a huge plus.
  • You have a flair for good user experience, with strong customer empathy and a track record of working with designers and engineers to ship delightful products, which you can demonstrate with what you have delivered.
  • Proven success at hiring, managing and growing a globally distributed, remote product team.
  • You have clear beliefs and hypotheses, you are able articulate them well, paint a good picture of what success looks like, and then rally people around it.
  • Strong in prioritising among opportunities, balancing the needs of our customers with those of our business, and clearly communicating the rationale behind your decisions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
