Privacy Specialists (PS) are responsible for evaluating privacy impacts, driving mitigation strategies and decisions to ensure Intel complies with applicable data protection laws, regulations and associated Intel policies. Encourage privacy best practices and privacybydesign through consistent analysis, feedback, and followthrough with product and engineering teams. May also monitor remediation activities with guidance from more senior analysts. PSs have an indepth understanding of core privacy concepts and the specific behaviors required to demonstrate the ethical handling of personal information. They perform privacy risk assessments of Intel’s products, services, and enterprise capabilities. PSs advise on privacy management, noncompliance escalations and waiver exceptions. In case of mergers and acquisitions, the PS may play a consultative assessment role regarding newly acquired entities. PSs will be engaged in privacyrelated special projects, as needed. PSs proactively identify potential privacy risks and recommend appropriate mitigation options. PSs will respond to unanticipated incidents as they arise. It is the PS’s responsibility to determine when a situation merits a new policy or an update to an existing policy. PSs interact with a wide array of personnel within Intel: management and project teams worldwide, business unit privacy champions, and corporate groups and suppliers (e.g. Legal, Human Resources, Information Technology, Internal Audit, Corporate Services and Corporate Security). As privacy subject matter experts (SMEs), PSs must keep abreast of legal, regulatory, policy and industry developments impacting the privacy and data protection domain. As needed, the PS may be called on to present on privacy topics. PS will influence respective partners to ensure that policies and procedures are implemented and well documented.QualificationsJob Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position:
Bachelor of Science (or equivalent degree) in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Security, Management Information Systems or related fields
7-14 years of relevant industry experience in Information Security, Privacy, Information Technology or Risk Management
Knowledge of industry standard information and security frameworks / Privacy Frameworks such as ISO27001, ISO27005, NIST CSF, NIST 800-39, FIPPs, OECD Privacy Guidelines, GAPP Maturity Model, ISO 27701, NIST Privacy Framework, GDPR, HIPPA, CPRA.
Strong working knowledge of the compliance risks associated within an IT Technology and manufacturing environment with experience working in and/or building effective Privacy program
Preferred Qualifications
Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CIPP, CISSP, CRISC or GSEC
Experience with Governance, Risk and Compliance platforms
Experience in various Information Security functions: Network security architecture, Secure Code Development and Lifecycle, Privacy Engineering, Security Engineering,
