Job Description:
Task: Works as a member of Communications Team, along with key Partner teams to provide customer communications.
• The Communications Manager is primarily responsible for aggressively working with engineering and partner comms teams to ensure timely delivery of customer facing comms.
• Strong understanding of urgency and Time to Notification requirements.
• Manage Communication calls with relevant stakeholders during high severity issues
• Collaborate / Communicate proactively and get the required information over the bridges from the various engineering teams to record and report them for future analysis
• Able to Learn/Understand the processes faster.
• Will be part of 24x7x365 team which is highly visible and will be ready to work in On-call / Shift Model
• Should be able to provide Timed, Targeted & actionable communication to the respective partners.
• Should be able to run/Handle/Take ownership/communicate over several high priority bridges.
Requirements:
• Should have worked in Major Incident Management roles (At least 2+ Years of Experience in Customer communication Management team)
• Must have Associates Degree in Computer Science or higher and experience in Technical Support/Application Support/Major Incident Management
• Knowledge of Microsoft systems (Azure cloud, Windows Server, Windows Clients, Active Directory)
• Good Understanding of IT Infrastructure Environment.
• ITIL trained (Certification preferred)
• Strong analytical mind.
• Strong sense of urgency.
• Good Team player.
• Must possess organization, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills.
• Strong Communication (Verbal/Written) skills and Ability to communicate clearly via phone, email, and chat.
• Ability to ask questions and at times question information being provided from various sources.
