Develop, execute & own the Digi-mech development roadmap E2E (concept to commercialization) within budgeted efforts, timelines & cost
Manage and develop stakeholder and partner ecosystem for Digi-mech developments
Coordinate & collaborate with cross functional stakeholders such as Marketing, Engineering, Manufacturing, Service, Quality etc.

Job Description:-
Developing the Digi-mech product development roadmap of GLSS
Maintaining awareness of existing & potential competitors, products & capabilities – Gaining understanding of customer experience in Digital access control, identifying product gaps – Generating new ideas to grow market share & increasing customer experience with new & existing products
Developing, executing & owning the Digi-mech development of E2E products (concept to commercialization):
Creating project wise plan creation and conducting weekly reviews, escalating issues – Being project manager & scrum master for Digi-mech projects, providing techno-commercial guidance: (i) Feature and specification definition: Concept development, high-level architecture, etc. (ii) Hardware, PCB Firmware design: Specifications, component selection, wireless design, etc. (iii) Software design (Cloud, Mobile app, Backend, Web app/ERP): AWS frameworks, platforms, APIs, firmware interaction etc. (iv) Factory testing & ongoing reliability test: Methodology, jig design & development, ORT plan – Enhancing value proposition and balancing out requirements with cost to maximize CVP – Managing certification process of products (CE, FCC, IP etc.) – Running prototype / early-stage sample development process – Defining testing methodology, conducting field trials, RCA of failures and executing changes in design.
Managing and developing stakeholder and partner ecosystem for Digi-mech developments:
Conducting weekly reviews with GLSS senior management; managing day-to-day reviews with internal teams – Identifying, evaluating and on-boarding external partners (embedded design, tech stack developers etc.) – Representing company in product/domain specific market displays events, conferences, etc.
Ensuring People & Talent Development:
Nurturing an environment where people work together, feel free to express themselves and learn from each other through the diligent deployment of The Godrej Way (Planning for Execution) – Driving GLSS thinking on internal capability build roadmap for Make-in-India – Developing individual development plans for direct reports and reviewing progress periodically – Providing support of function in product related trainings (to field/ HO) as required 5. Ensuring Compliance with Statutory & Company-wide policies and initiatives: – Providing active support to all company – wide processes and initiatives such as Safety, Business Excellence, CII Clusters, IMS, CSR, Archives, etc. – Inculcating a function-wide focus on Business Excellence – Understanding and ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements – Building strong relationships with external stakeholders such as government & regulatory bodies
Requisite Qualification & Experience:-
15 years of work experience for Degree in Engineering
OR 12 years of work experience for Post graduate in Engineering with relevant work experience in Design & Innovation, R&D, Manufacturing & Engineering
IoT Development on embedded side is must
