As an API Tech Writer, you’ll be responsible for crafting and maintaining exceptional API documentation. This includes reference guides, developer guides, tutorials, and more. You’ll play a critical role in translating technical content and ensuring it meets the highest standards of clarity and usability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain comprehensive API documentation.
  • Translate API documentation from English to Chinese.
  • Ensure documentation aligns with company standards and user needs.
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to understand API functionality.
  • Develop and maintain code samples and use cases for API integration.
  • Manage video projects, from concept to editing and completion.
  • Coordinate localization requests and manage timelines effectively.

Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Writing, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Strong writing, editing, and translation skills (English-Chinese).
  • Proficient in Google Suite and multimedia content creation.
  • Solid understanding of APIs and technical documentation best practices.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills.
