Atento is hiring Collections Analyst

The Collections Analyst is responsible for managing and analyzing accounts receivable to ensure timely collection of outstanding debts. This role involves tracking overdue accounts, communicating with clients to resolve payment issues, and implementing strategies to optimize cash flow and minimize bad debt.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and control the client portfolio, ensuring timely recovery of accounts receivable.
  • Handle factoring and other financing mechanisms to optimize cash flow.
  • Perform reconciliations and payment compensations using SAP HANA.
  • Monitor and control bad debts, implementing strategies to minimize delinquency.
  • Maintain constant communication with clients to resolve disputes and negotiate payment terms.
  • Prepare financial and collections reports for management.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues related to accounts receivable.
  • Stay updated on best practices and changes in legislation related to collections.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Language: Advanced English is required for this role.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a collections analyst or in a similar role, with a solid understanding of accounts receivable and collections processes.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP HANA, Excel). Familiarity with collections software and tools is advantageous.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities to address and resolve payment issues and disputes.
  • Organization: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.
