Role Overview

The Risk & Control Officer will partner with Finance process owners to design and improve internal controls, ensuring alignment with business risks. You will support SOx compliance and risk assessments, working closely with Risk Managers and cross-functional stakeholders to promote a robust risk management culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and improve internal controls to mitigate business risks effectively.
  • Facilitate SOx compliance activities, including process walkthroughs and risk documentation.
  • Support Risk Managers in assessing risks for new initiatives and conducting annual risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with IT Risk Officers to ensure business and IT process controls are well-integrated.
  • Act as a risk ambassador, promoting risk awareness through training and initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience in business analysis, auditing, corporate governance, or risk management.
  • Strong understanding of internal controls (e.g., SOx & COSO).
  • Adaptability to dynamic work environments and a proactive, self-starter mindset.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with business partners and drive cultural change.
