Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Mumbai for an IT Presales Head at Datamatics. The IT Presales Head will be responsible for overseeing the presales activities, working closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop effective strategies, and ensuring the successful delivery of presales solutions to clients.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in IT presales, business development, or related roles
  • Proven track record in managing presales teams and driving successful presales initiatives
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Deep understanding of digital technologies and solutions
  • Strategic thinking and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

18 to 20 years of total software architecture, design and development experience, should have played the Solution Architect role.

Strong hold on Digital Technologies Cloud, Data, AI and LCNC Platforms

Full Stack development experience on any of back end technologies such as Java, PHP, Dot Net etc.

Have experience in running presales function know the process well. Good with solutioning, estimation, resource loading, and pricing.

Exposure to US markets, Europe and other markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and Own the pre-sales process
  • Research and recommend technical solutions to new and existing clients
  • Review and understand existing product and infrastructure of clients and document findings
  • Compare various frameworks and libraries and provide reasons to choose the suitable one for a given problem statement
  • Probe clients with right questions to understand client’s requirements
  • Articulate company’s technology and product portfolio, positioning to both business and technical users
  • Create and confidently deliver technical presentations internally and externally
  • Create internal design documentation including solution architecture, network diagrams with technical explanations
  • Possess and Adhere to the Company’s Quality, Business Processes and Delivery Process
  • To structure and produce compelling technical proposals with documentation outlining the cost savings and business benefits to clients
  • Hands on coding to create proof of concepts
  • Bring in best and latest of technologies, frameworks and practices
  • Support sales team with technical qualification of leads

Essential Skill set

  • Strong solution mindset
  • Should have hands-on experience in Digital Technologies – Cloud, Data, AI and LCNC
  • Preferable to have hands on experience in traditional web and mobile technologies in smartphones – Android, iOS, and React Native
  • Should have knowledge of web services, XML, JSON, experience of integrating services in mobile apps
  • Very strong analytical skills, problem solving ability
  • Should have strong foundation in web technologies as well (understand HTTP, HTTPS etc)
  • Excellent communication skills

Preferred candidate profile

  • Desired Skill Set:UML knowledge to convey design and also to model requirements
  • Past experience in pre sales
  • Knowledge of nosql databases
  • Previous experience of requirements gathering, design and solution building and the ability to replicate this in a commercial setting
  • Project management experience is a distinct advantage
  • Willingness to travel
