U.S. India, Client & Market Growth (CMG) drives the marketing programs, initiatives, and priority client-facing programs in the U.S. regions. India CMG is focused on quality and operational excellence and constantly challenges and refines its business model to ensure proper support of marketing processes, services, and deliverables in the United States. The mission of CMG is to support, augment, and complement Deloitte’s marketing efforts through the development of marketing and business development materials and services.
Work you will do
Data Maintenance:
- Establishing data management standards, procedures, and best practices while data cleansing, data wrangling, and data mapping
- Quickly learn various processes of the Alumni Relations team and attain a business information specialist role to solve any data-related queries
- Identify gaps within datasets and perform secondary research to update information related to contacts and accounts regularly
- Motivated to work on large datasets and ensure the records have updated recent information in CRM tools, like Salesforce, SAP, and Avature.
- Review and cleanse data within Salesforce contact and account records daily as a part of maintenance activities
Data Reporting
- Develop and manage reports to track engagement, alumni information, account details, conversion or wins, etc., by carrying out editorial duties for the alumni newsletter and tracking its effectiveness.
- Ability to work on large datasets and run queries using CRM tools
- Preparing the data as per Deloitte branded guidelines and ensuring all Personal Information is encrypted as per safety guidelines of Deloitte to maintain Data Integrity
- Support team members as and when required on various data reports using Excel or ppt
- Ability to multitask projects and adhere to SLAs
- Ensure data quality is being met as per the standards put forward by the team
Data Visualization
- Ability to work on Tableau Dashboards will be a plus
- Ability to filter out the data and bring relevant insights
- Ability to identify gaps within data sources and leverage analytical mindset to bring in data automation techniques that will enhance the overall efficiency of the team
- Thinking out of the box
Data Analysis:
- Understanding the requirements of clients and translating them using data as a part of insight
- Manage large volumes of data and analyze them quickly
- Strong knowledge of Excel to develop insights, build pivots, and slice-dice the data as per the requirement
- Should be able to analyze and provide insights into root causes of poor data quality and provide standardization and remediation recommendations supported by data governance
Team Player
- Collaborate and build strong relationships with key stakeholders in Deloitte’s different business areas (Audit, Tax, Consulting, and Advisory) to implement alumni campaign strategies, manage local alumni support, and embed alumni as an integral part of the Deloitte ecosystem.
- Work on tight deadlines on multiple ongoing projects with agreed SLAs
- Work both independently and as part of a team and with professionals at all levels with exceptional focus on quality. You should maintain a clear focus on the data quality of all deliverables and take ownership.
- Ability to adapt working style or peer group and work as a team
- Fully comply with all applicable policies of the Deloitte U.S. Firms and always maintain the confidentiality of Alumni Data, as we have access to highly confidential information of those who participate in various campaigns, programs, events, and surveys
Required Qualifications And Experience
- MBA, preferably with a major in Marketing/HR.
- 1-3 years of experience in roles pertaining to Alumni Relations, Talent operations, Recruiting, Marketing and/or University Relations.
- Superior knowledge of Microsoft Office tools like Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
- Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with any CRM tool would be a plus (Salesforce or ServiceNow experience a plus).
- A team member is required to work on Tableau Dashboards. Basic awareness and a willingness to learn further can also be considered.
