Job Title: Enterprise Cloud Sales – Account Director

Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to join our Enterprise Segment for the West Region Direct Sales team. This role focuses on driving the adoption of cloud solutions within enterprise accounts, particularly AWS cloud consulting services. The ideal candidate should possess a strong technical sales background and be business savvy to help establish Rapyder’s presence in the Enterprise Segment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Revenue Growth: Drive revenue and market share in key accounts within the West Region. Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets.
- Account Management: Develop and execute comprehensive account plans. Ensure customer satisfaction and foster long-term strategic relationships with CXOs in key accounts.
- Cloud Solutions Expertise: Conduct presentations and demos of AWS solutions. Contribute to pre-sales SOW/documentation and minimize dependence on pre-sales for initial calls.
- Partnerships: Work with ISV/OEM and AWS BDMs to extend reach and drive adoption. Collaborate with AWS teams and plan joint initiatives with our principal OEM.
- Contract Negotiation: Manage contract negotiations and ensure favorable terms for Rapyder.
- Market Intelligence: Build account-specific databases and collect insights on customer buying behavior, industry trends, and competition.
- Sales Strategy: Collaborate with leadership to develop initiatives, plan events, and sales strategies to meet defined performance and revenue growth objectives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing to launch account-specific plans, workshops, and engagement programs.
- Team Enablement: Assist in new customer acquisition, enablement, collateral creation, and coordinate pre-sales efforts.
- Collections: Ensure prompt collections and maintain financial accuracy.
- Feedback Loop: Provide prospect feedback to the leadership team regarding services and pricing. Suggest additional services to enhance our portfolio.
Requirements:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in direct IT product or services sales with a proven track record of delivering sales pipelines at large enterprise accounts through leading outbound prospecting teams.
- Cloud Expertise: Must have experience in selling Cloud services, preferably AWS Cloud services.
- Sales Development: Responsible for creating and iterating the sales development process, methodology, campaigns, hiring profiles, training, and enablement.
- Leadership: Proven team player with excellent leadership skills. Ability to work in uncertain business environments while representing Rapyder’s core values in daily behavior.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and spoken English. Ability to communicate business messages accurately, nuancedly, directly, and kindly.
- Independence: Ability to work independently, build relationships, and respond quickly.
