Role Overview

The **Microsoft D365 Finance Functional Consultant** plays a pivotal role in analyzing, configuring, and supporting the D365 Finance application for clients. Key Responsibilities

1. D365 Finance Expertise

Provide deep functional knowledge and expertise in **Microsoft D365 Finance**, covering all finance modules like AP, AR, GL, FA, and Projects. Help clients optimize their financial processes by applying standard best practices in D365 Finance functions.

2. Business Requirement Analysis

Work with stakeholders to understand their business processes and align them with D365 capabilities. Document business requirements and perform a fit-gap analysis to design optimal solutions.

3. Configuration & Customization

Configure and customize D365 Finance modules based on client requirements. Develop functional design documents, ensuring all system modifications and customizations are clearly outlined.

4. Collaboration & Stakeholder Communication

Collaborate with technical consultants, client teams, and end-users to ensure successful project delivery. Lead meetings and discussions to drive decision-making and maintain project alignment.

5. Testing & Quality Assurance

Design and implement test scenarios, functional test cases, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Use **Azure DevOps** and other tools for test management, ensuring smooth implementation and quality assurance.

6. Continuous Improvement

Stay updated on new features and functionalities of D365 Finance. Identify opportunities for improvements in client solutions and internal processes.

Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

• At least **5 years of experience** in Microsoft D365 Finance/F&O.
• In-depth knowledge of core finance modules like **AP, AR, GL, FA, and Projects**.
• Experience in **functional specifications** for D365 Finance enhancements and integrations.
• Proven expertise in **configuring, implementing, and testing D365 Finance** solutions using best practices.
• Experience with **Azure DevOps** for test management and UAT.

Requirements
