Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Network Solution Architect with a strong background in network assessments, designing topologies, running network discoveries, and inventorying. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in various network technologies and protocols and will have the ability to design and propose comprehensive network solutions.
This individual should have hands-on experience with Cisco and Juniper Router and Switches, Load Balancers, Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC), And similar Technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Network Implementation & Integration: Assist in planning and executing complex network implementations, migrations, and integrations of various network components. –
Network Assessment & Discovery: Perform in-depth network assessments, inventory current assets, run network discoveries, and document findings for analysis. –
Network Documentation: Create or update detailed Low-Level documentation of the assessed network using Microsoft Visio.
Solution Design & Architecture: Develop network designs, topology diagrams, and scalable solutions in line with business and technical requirements. –
Technical Requirement Gathering:
Engage with clients or internal teams to understand business needs and translate these into technical network requirements.
Vendor Interaction: Work closely with vendors (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, etc.) for the procurement, installation, and support of network devices.
Cloud Network Architecture: Design and manage cloud-based networking solutions across different platforms.
Performance Optimization: Troubleshoot and optimize network performance, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
Extensive Experience with AAA: Radius, TACACS, 802.1x, MAB and Identity management.
Experience with centralized network access control for wired, wireless, or VPN users.
Required Skills & Expertise:
Certifications: Must hold a current CCNP certification (other certifications like CCIE, JNCIP, or AWS/Azure Cloud networking certifications are a plus)
Skill & Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in network design, architecture, and management.
Technology Proficiency: Cisco (Switches, Routers, Firewalls)
Juniper (Firewalls, Routers) Software Defined Networking,
2+ years Experience with Cisco Catalyst Center and ACI
Load Balancers** (F5, Citrix ADC, etc.)
Wireless LAN Controllers-DNS/DHCP management
Tools: Proficient in using network management and discovery tools.
Protocols: Deep understanding of networking protocols such as BGP, OSPF, MPLS, STP, VLANs, RADIUS, TACACS, 802.1x.-
Soft Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Should be comfortable working in US business Hours.
Preferred Skills:
Advanced Certifications: CCNP, JNCIP, Cloud Certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Experience with network security solutions such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems (IDS/IPS)
Project Management: Experience in managing network-related projects, from planning to execution.
CCNP certification is Must
