The responsibilities are mentioned herewith:
- Support the team on driving consumer PR and build a strong consumer brand for G&B
- Identify and explore (in collaboration with the PR advisory) thought leadership opportunities- media/ speaker/ sponsorship opportunities.
- Build narratives that help businesses and corporate to find space in media.
- Conceptualize owned media properties that help in establishing category-based thought leadership.
Media relations
- Co-develop and implement PR strategies and publicity campaigns for B2C and B2B businesses within the group.
- Build, narrate and maintain strong relations with key media.
- Be up to date on current trends, issues and news about consumer, business and corporate media.
- Manage external PR advisory.
- Ensure consistency of Companywide communication and support impactful regional media strategies.
Digital PR
- Increase digital safety net of B2C and corporate brand.
- Identify and liaison with micro influencers/ social commentators.
Internal stakeholder management
- Close co-operation with brand managers and PR SPOCS from B2C brands.
- Provide strategic recommendation to business stakeholders.
- Arrange capability building training/ workshops for stakeholders.
Industry thought leadership.
- Create Speaker opportunities/ visibility at industry forums.
- Study placement in reputed colleges/ schools/ institutes
- Create and maintain reputation lists.
Requisite Qualification/Experience
- Specialization in English literature for Graduate / Post-graduate qualification in PR / Communication / Media from a reputed institute
- 8 – 10 years of work experience with 3- 4 yrs of experience in a PR agency / Media
- Relevant network with media- especially with consumer & corporate media
- Social media
- Influencer engagement
- Corporate stint post working with an agency.
Special Skill Required
- Written and oral communication skills
- Ability to manage internal stakeholders
- Ability to manage media and influence the same to speak on behalf of G&B
