We make markets in and clear client transactions on major stock, options and futures exchanges worldwide. Through our global sales force, we maintain relationships with our clients, receiving orders and distributing investment research, trading ideas, market information and analysis.
Role Overview
Role is in Client management strategy (CMS) team of global market division focusing on Data Management Group (DMG). DMG team is responsible for all the corporate access and sales interaction data for the division. We manage this data and submit the interactions to the clients to be paid the commission for these interaction by GS.
Person in this role have opportunities to work with multiple teams across sales, trading and technology and drive grown and changes to the process, as needed
Job Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Accurate and timely capture of Corporate Access services, Sales interactions in respective client portals. This includes collating key details, theme of the meetings & parties involved given direct impact on firm’s broker vote rankings and commissions.
- Liaising with Franchise Managers across divisions and clients to ensure dataaccuracy and consistency. Be the single point of contact for discrepancies, if any.
- Assisting senior leadership on various analysis related to firm’s consumption.
- Handling different vendor platforms/client portals/dash boards for capturing client consumption.
- Play a key role in streamlining data capture process.
- Play a significant role in driving business critical projects.
- Continually endeavor to gain in-depth knowledge and enhance the understanding of Global Markets division, Products and Global markets
- Interact with Franchise Management teams across business units and regions, as well as teams across Federation and Producing divisions
- Continually endeavor to gain in-depth knowledge and enhance the understanding of Securities structures, Products and Global markets
Skills Required –
- 1 to 2 Years of experience in financial services industry
- Strong understanding of market, business and products with experience of working with multiple team in the current role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal (written and verbal) skills
- Able to handle data, manage data and make sense out of it
- Attention to detail, Ability to multi-task & deliver under pressure.
- Inquisitive, enthusiastic and flexible self-starter with a strong analytical mind-set.
- Ability to work in a team-based environment and coordinate effectively with global colleagues, organize own time and work independent
