Role Overview
The Vendor Relationship Owner (VRO) will oversee and manage loan management vendors, ensuring compliance with Goldman Sachs’ rigorous risk and oversight requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Manage vendor relationships as the primary Vendor Relationship Owner (VRO).
- Complete vendor onboarding and ensure adherence to risk control protocols.
- Coordinate with internal teams for vendor risk assessments and issue resolutions.
- Monitor and address issues identified in the Vendor Risk Portal (VRP).
- Conduct regular vendor meetings to maintain compliance and operational standards.
- Prepare risk mitigation strategies and manage third-party risk management processes.
- Draft communications requiring VP, MD, or PMD approval and ensure escalation of critical vendor issues.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in vendor management, risk management, or third-party oversight.
- Strong understanding of risk controls, contract management, and compliance processes.
- Proficiency in tools like Ariba and familiarity with vendor onboarding workflows.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to analyze Service Organization Control (SOC) reports and identify key risks.
- Knowledge of Private Internal Information (PII) protection and associated best practices.
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
