Job Summary

The Analyst – Knowledge Services role at Infosys involves contributing specialized knowledge in Master Data Management (MDM) and working on data analysis, data cleansing strategies, and data validation. As part of the Digital Transformation team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage and improve processes related to data management. The ideal candidate will have experience with tools like SAP ECC, SAP MDG, and other MDM platforms, along with a strong background in data analysis and project management.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement MDM strategies, including data cleansing, de-duplication, and master data enrichment for vendors, materials, and customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to recommend and implement data solutions that improve processes and address business challenges.
  • Perform master data audits to ensure compliance with business rules, standards, and metrics.
  • Participate in new solution development, including designing tools, methodologies, and strategies to enhance the MDM practice.
  • Prepare data design documentation, such as data models, standards, and integration matrices.
  • Lead MDM projects from due diligence to final implementation and client signoff while maintaining SLAs.
  • Conduct pre-analysis activities like classifying records and ensuring data quality for accurate reporting and analysis.
  • Ensure the effective collaboration of cross-functional teams to implement and manage data solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in Master Data Management or related fields.
  • Experience in SAP Functional knowledge, particularly SAP ECC and SAP MDG.
  • Experience in data analysis, modeling, and interpretation using Excel, SQL, and ERP tools.
  • Proven skills in project management, including the ability to lead MDM projects from conception to completion.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, particularly in PowerPoint and business case delivery.
  • Fluent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to interact with clients and internal teams effectively.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong expertise in Master Data Management domains such as customer, vendor, material, and product data.
  • Ability to apply AI/ML techniques to data management challenges (preferred but not required).
  • Excellent analytical skills, including advanced Excel modeling and data interpretation capabilities.
  • Experience in data visualization and storytelling to present recommendations clearly.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Effective multitasking abilities and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
