As a SoC Physical Design-Timing Engineer, you will research, design, develop, and test cutting-edge SoC designs that redefine how Intel builds semiconductor products. Key Responsibilities
- Optimize performance and collaborate with process teams for best-in-class SoC designs.
- Execute physical synthesis, place-and-route, and clock tree synthesis using Synopsys or Cadence tools.
- Perform static timing analysis, constraint generation, and timing closure.
- Analyze multiple power domains using standard Power Formats such as UPF or CPF.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in backend design and/or static timing analysis.
- Experience with physical synthesis, place-and-route, and clock tree synthesis.
- Knowledge of multiple power domain analysis using UPF or CPF.

- 5+ years of experience in backend design and static timing analysis.
- Proven experience with product development on leading-edge process nodes.
