Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform QC on the Business Resiliency plans to support CIB Business in ensuring compliance with the Firmwide Resiliency policy & standards.
- Support Data analysis to continued strengthening Resiliency governance and reporting. Driving Business Resiliency agenda for CIB LOBs in India
- Support CIB Lobs in responding to any incident / crisis event effectively in India and completing after action review report
- Coordinate Site / staff loss testing conducted by CIB LOBs. Lead / Contribute to various process improvement resiliency initiatives across the Globe/ Region/ Location. Ensure Quality Control process exists, and reviews are conducted prior to BR Plan approval and publication in firmwide Business Resiliency system.
- Challenge validity or appropriateness of content of resiliency plans for CIB functions to improve effectiveness of plans
- Execute hygiene controls to ensure data quality and consistency of resiliency documentation. Prepare and provide comprehensive Resiliency compliance reporting to Location stakeholders to enable them providing governance & oversight. Develop and deliver business Resiliency awareness/training program for CIB LOBs
- Develop a cohesive and effective partnership with business and operations. Proactively manage resiliency risks to incorporate appropriate mitigations and controls. Support CIB functions in preparation for Regulatory exams / Audits
Required Qualifications, Skills And Capabilities
- Change Management – the ability to thrive in a rapidly evolving environment and to effectively manage effects of change to people, structure or technology. Initiative – self-motivated, able to realise the need for change and seek feasible solutions. Analytical thinking – thinking through problems or situations in a systematic way
- Decision making – able to identify, assess and select different courses of action. Strong PC skills (Microsoft Suite including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Visio)
- Analytical and organized with a systematic thought process. Initiative in unstructured situations, including seizing new opportunities.
- Experience in an investment banking Regulatory, Compliance or Operational team is desirable
- Business Resiliency, Operational & Crisis Management experience preferred
- Knowledge of compliance, audit, risk and operational management concepts
- Attested track record of working to deadlines, with accountability and responsibility for independent workload
