Responsibilities
- Expertise of our core analytic products such as prescriber targeting, offer optimization, and geographic analysis. Make improvements to these products as well as develop new products as determined by client needs. Present the concepts of these products to existing and potential clients, as well as run the analyses and present product results to clients.
- Serve as the analyst on internal company-wide initiatives, developing analytical tools to support these projects, such as a tool to examine pharmacy transactions in order to determine if fraud is taking place.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis to support client needs such as sales force alignments, volume/financial forecasts, and adherence analysis using tools such as SQL, SAS, JMP, Python, and Excel. Understand the program goals of clients and perform analysis that provide program improvements related to those goals. Communicate analyses & results to clients in a clear and logical manner by phone or in person.
- Provide pre-sales support by making program recommendations prior to a product launch. Present directly to potential clients on analytic services and potential offer structures.
- Provide analysis to support program managers during their quarterly business reviews, utilizing internal data sources.
- Collaborate internally with Sales and Project Management to prepare project estimates, timelines and proposals.
- Provide back-up support to reporting teams by creating and running SQL queries as needed.
- Provide leadership and training to other team members on analytical techniques and applications.
- Provide leadership on industry knowledge to client services teams by being an expert on the pharmaceutical industry and in the areas of patient affordability and market access.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Statistics, Economics, or similar discipline. Master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of client-facing experience providing analytic advice.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and oral/written communication skills.
- Experience interpreting complex model results and present meaningful, client-ready business insight based on model analytics.
- Demonstrated application of analytical skills in using statistical packages such as SAS, JMP, etc.
- 3+ hands on experience with Snowflake
- High-level proficiency in SQL programming.
- Advanced Excel skills. (e.g., VLOOKUP, SUMIF, Macros)
- Experience delivering large analytical projects or analytics outsourcing engagements.
- Proven ability to work cross functionally with internal company stakeholders to ensure best outcome is achieved.
- Investment/Asset Management experience required.
