Overview
The Cloud Commerce team is looking for a Software Engineer II to drive our customer experience strategy forward by consistently innovating and problem-solving. The ideal candidate is passionate about the customer experience journey, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset. Responsible for the analysis, design, development, and delivery of software solutions. Defines requirements for new applications and customisations, adhering to standards, processes, and best practices
Role
Our Technical Program Managers (TPM – hybrid) conceptualise, rationalise, and drive multiple simultaneous projects to deliver engineering work across the portfolio in our Scrum and Kanban execution models. In this role, you get to dive as deep as you want into the tech stack, the integration patterns, the organizational capabilities, and the company wide assets that can be leveraged to provide technical solutions to customer problems. You will contribute to the strategies, design choices, and even the cloud infrastructure necessary to build comprehensive believable and achievable execution plans to deliver high-profile new features and capabilities for our customers.
You may also drive the feature execution, Scrum teams while keeping the teams coached with Agile best practices (Scrum and Kanban) and regularly report project status along the way to stakeholders.
All About You
- BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline
- Soft skills and ability to work with team: leadership, facilitation, motivation, teaching & conflict resolution
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently and across multiple teams
- Demonstrated experience breaking down problems, planning sprints and delivering projects in agile framework models (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience in coaching teams on Agile Best Practices
- Experience building cloud-native software products with a deep understanding of Business, Platform’s capabilities and underlying technologies.
- Proven data driven decision-making and applying continuous improvement methodologies across teams
- Lead project strategic discussions with Stakeholders and communicate with impact, eloquence and authenticity.
- Demonstrated experience building relationships, partnering with and influencing dependent teams while commanding the respect of the individuals you work with across the organisation
- Huge plus if you have expertise in Payments, IaaS, PaaS, Serverless technology, CI/CD, microservices APIs, and distributed systems operations in a DevOps model
