Role Description
The Specialist, Implementation at Mastercard will manage customer-facing processing implementation projects. These projects can be both technical and non-technical, with the goal of delivering high-quality implementations of Mastercard’s payment solutions. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end execution of these projects, ensuring their reliability and success by applying Mastercard’s project coordination methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end project execution of processing implementation activities for Mastercard customers.
- Provide guidance to customers and Mastercard’s teams on implementation processes and best practices.
- Manage multiple implementation projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Document customer requirements, implementation activities, and relevant technical specifications.
- Guide and support customers during implementation, ensuring smooth onboarding and successful integration.
- Conduct training for both internal Mastercard teams and customers to ensure proper implementation processes are followed.
- Collaborate with internal teams globally to ensure the seamless execution of implementation projects.
Candidate Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in Information Technology, with a focus on project management and payment transaction processing.
- Strong understanding of network technologies, applications, and project management practices.
- Experience with MasterCard payment processing systems and related customer interfaces is a plus.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and internal teams at various levels of engagement.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Knowledge of payment processing systems, EMV/Contactless payment technologies, and mobile payment solutions is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bilingual skills (English and Chinese) are a plus.
