The Scaled Partnerships team at Meta works with thousands of early stage creators across India. The primary objective of this team is to enable early stage creators grow their presence and build communities on Meta’s family of apps viz. Instagram, Facebook, Threads and WhatsApp. We are seeking an experienced professional to manage Born on Instagram, India’s biggest creator education & engagement program. With 800,000 registered users, it has grown to become one of the biggest creator communities in India. The candidate will be expected to strategise and grow users for this program and effectively manage this creator community and engage with them to drive Meta’s product objectives. This position is located in Gurgaon or Mumbai and will require travel.
Community Program Manager – Scaled Partnerships India Responsibilities:
- Manage the Born On Instagram program daily with the mission of driving user growth
- Oversee creator course material to help creators learn the best practices to grow on Meta
- Own and achieve measurable and growth goals from this community of creators
- Work with a strong P&L mindset. Aim to scale the community while being cost effective
- Manage vendor and agency relationship with a purpose of meeting program objectives
- Be data-driven in taking decisions. Regularly communicate insights to the creator community
- Use WhatsApp, Zoom calls and other tools to engage with the community frequently
- Be an internal advocate for Born on Instagram internally and externally
- Build strong cross-functional relationships internally to meet program objectives
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 7+ years experience of program/partner management experience
- Deep understanding of the creator ecosystem in India
- Problem solving, execution rigour and structured thinking are essential to this role
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving environment
- Collaborative approach and working cohesively in a team would be necessary
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in managing creators would be an added advantage
- Experience in managing online communities would be an added advantage
