Role Overview

As a Technical Program Manager in the Deployment Readiness Engineering team, you will focus on ensuring seamless infrastructure deployments. This role combines program management, process improvement, and data analysis to enhance operational efficiency and support Microsoft’s expanding cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead virtual teams to deliver cloud infrastructure predictably based on customer needs.
  • Develop methods to collect and analyze deployment data, ensuring smooth execution.
  • Collaborate with Engineering teams to identify automation opportunities.
  • Work closely with Capacity Planning and Management teams to anticipate and resolve challenges.
  • Optimize deployment processes to improve operational efficiency and scalability.
  • Create actionable dashboards to track progress and triage deployment blockers.
  • Conduct retrospectives and data-driven analysis to refine metrics and improve predictability.
  • Partner with supply chain teams to resolve hardware-related issues.
  • Build strong relationships across Microsoft’s Azure landscape to drive innovation and improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following skills and qualifications:

  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • 1+ year(s) of experience managing cross-functional projects.
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Product/Technical Program Management, or related fields OR equivalent experience.
    • Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • 2+ years of experience with data analysis, SQL, and Power BI.
    • Proven ability to solve technical problems and perform data-driven decision-making.
    • Experience in process engineering and optimization, including developing metrics and tools.
    • Knowledge of supply chain principles such as planning, sourcing, and delivering.
    • Familiarity with automation tools and frameworks is a plus.
