Job Summary
The Principal Infrastructure Engineer (IAM) will be responsible for handling Identity and Access Management tasks, including security integrations, policy adherence, and gap remediation. This position requires a deep understanding of IAM architecture and strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues across applications. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and track remediation efforts in line with IAM policies.
Roles and Responsibilities
The IAM Engineer will be responsible for the following:
- Analyze IAM system logs and troubleshoot issues related to application, network, and other logs.
- Configure secure integrations with external services such as LDAP/S and RADIUS.
- Engage with application teams to ensure compliance with IAM policies, specifically around fine-grained entitlements and segregation of duties (SoD).
- Drive and track remediation of applications with non-compliant entitlements or subcomponents.
- Develop and implement executive-level reporting to track progress, including burndown charts to demonstrate risk reduction.
- Mitigate risks associated with delayed business responses and unresolved issues.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, and improve monitoring capabilities for high-priority tickets.
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate should meet the following qualifications and possess these skills:
- 5+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management, particularly with Oracle Identity Manager.
- Strong understanding of IAM architecture and deployment design.
- Experience in configuring secure integrations with external services such as LDAP/S, RADIUS, etc.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot IAM system logs and issues.
- Experience with IAM gap remediation planning and execution.
- Proficiency in documentation and creating detailed technical reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- Certifications in relevant IAM or security fields are an advantage.
