Role : Associate Buying
Overview
We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as an Associate Buying
for Home & Emerging categories. The role primarily involves managing
seller relationships, onboarding new sellers, driving business development
initiatives, and overseeing key account management within the online retail
environment.
Responsibilities
Seller Management
Develop and maintain relationships with existing sellers.
Negotiate terms and conditions with sellers to ensure favorable business outcomes.
Resolve issues and disputes with sellers in a timely manner.
Implement initiatives to maximize sales and profitability for key accounts.
Monitor and analyse seller performance metrics.
Develop Products and expand the range across all eligible AT’s and Brands.
Sellers Onboarding
Identify and onboard new sellers onto the platform.
Coordinate with internal teams to streamline the onboarding process
Ensure compliance with company policies and guidelines during onboarding.
Business Development
Explore opportunities for expanding the seller base.
Implement strategies to enhance product assortment and availability.
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to optimize seller performance.
Market Analysis
Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
Stay updated with industry developments and competitor activities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
Proven experience in a buying role within the e-commerce industry, with experience in home category.
Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic
decisions.
Familiarity with online retail platforms and seller dynamics.
