Machine Learning Engineer IV – Elevate In-Flight Entertainment & Connectivity

Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership (20%):
- Lead the design and implementation of robust, scalable, high-performance systems.
- Integrate machine learning algorithms to improve content delivery, personalization, and connectivity services.
Algorithm Development & Implementation (20%):
- Develop and deploy machine learning models and predictive analytics.
- Create advanced machine learning frameworks, tools, and technologies.
Machine Learning Infrastructure & Engineering (20%):
- Make key architectural decisions for machine learning infrastructure.
- Design scalable machine learning pipelines using cloud-based platforms and distributed computing frameworks.
Experimentation & Innovation (10%):
- Explore emerging machine learning trends and technologies.
- Conduct research and propose innovative approaches to enhance IFEC offerings.
Cross-functional Collaboration (10%):
- Work closely with data scientists, software engineers, product managers, and stakeholders.
- Communicate technical concepts and insights effectively.
Performance Optimization (10%):
- Continuously monitor and optimize machine learning model performance.
- Implement enhancements to achieve optimal results.
Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing (10%):
- Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Foster a culture of excellence and continuous learning within the team.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar.
- Expertise in machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and data processing technologies.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to drive technical initiatives.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a passion for innovation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Advanced degree preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, focusing on data-driven applications, machine learning, or AI, preferably in aerospace or tech industries.
