Solutions Engineer Job Description Template
We are looking to hire an experienced solutions engineer to work alongside our Platform development team. As a solutions engineer, you will be required to create a Solution flows for customer centric solutions and conduct presentations, demonstrate the features of company products, and create customized software solutions for the client.
To ensure success as a solutions engineer in this role, you should have in-depth knowledge of security API architecture, Node js scripting with prior development experience. Any member with CISSP knowledge will have more preference.
Solutions Engineer Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership in Flows for API security.
- Strategizing with the Product managers team to create customized solutions.
- Represent a team and gather technical requirements for upcoming projects.
- Influence and coach a distributed team of engineers
- Manage and track a set of tasks that are planned for at least a quarter in a year.
- Facilitate and mentor fellow engineers on their tasks.
- Supporting the sales team with all technical related queries.
Solutions Engineer Requirements:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering.
- Prior work experience as a solutions engineer.
- Familiarity with API security involved in solutions.
- High-level communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
