Job Summary
As a FIT – Guidewire BC Configuration Associate at PwC, you will play a critical role in enhancing customer experience and operational efficiency. Your focus will be on implementing advanced technologies and modernizing workflows for clients in the insurance domain. Roles and Responsibilities
- Support sprint planning and collaborate with cross-functional teams across different locations.
- Analyze client requirements and provide timely design and development solutions.
- Guide the team in task execution, performing design and code reviews.
- Support testing efforts and resolve client queries efficiently.
- Participate in Scrum calls, providing status updates and reports.
- Contribute to CoE activities, training, and recruitment efforts as needed.
Preferred Skill Set
- Hands-on experience with Guidewire BillingCenter, especially in Configuration.
- Strong knowledge of the Guidewire platform, including Gosu scripting, UI, and data model.
- Proficiency in Webservices, XML, and ant script.
- Experience with databases such as Oracle and SQL Server, and expertise in SQL queries.
- Exposure to SCM tools like GIT, TFS, SVN, and knowledge of servers/containers like Tomcat and JBoss.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure.
- Experience with Agile SCRUM or SAFe methodology.
- Solid knowledge of the insurance domain and software architecture/design patterns.
- Must have experience with estimation, team leadership, code reviews, and mentoring.
- At least two Guidewire implementations and estimation skills are required.
- Additional knowledge of MuleSoft, Spring, and Hibernate is a plus.
Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Technology (BTech/BE/MTech/MS/MCA/MBA).
