Summary
Working as a Website Implementation/Quality Control Specialist, responsibilities will include the execution and creation of test plans, testing/review of customer websites, review of new website templates as well as website build assignments. A critical part of this role is reviewing the provided details, asking clarifying questions and delivering a quality product in a timely manner. Order types will include New Logos, Expansion or Add on sites with multiple projects taking place simultaneously.
Primary Responsibilities
- Review and execute on configuration instructions provided with accuracy meeting requested timelines.
- Manage multiple implementation projects simultaneously.
- Maintain advanced knowledge of each product for which they are responsible.
- Maintain accurate records of all communication received for each project.
- Notify management of any complications, missing data or system defects that might delay the implementation.
- Ensure successful hand-offs and communication with other Real Page teams.
- Collaborates effectively with other departments to improve processes or procedures.
- Audit client website implementation for completion and accuracy including grammar, spelling, SEO, photo quality, layout, mobile usability, user experience, software integrations and overall website functionality.
- Perform QC Reviews using pre-defined checklists to identify gaps/defects from Website Implementations completed by the team.
- Compile, interpret, and document statistical data on production and processes to ensure the best implementation methods are being used and high quality is being achieved.
- Aptitude in software/coding, especially Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, and front-end web development
- Intermediate knowledge of HTML / CSS / JavaScript
- Proven ability to configure various registrars and domain DNS records.
- Proven ability to learn and use a broad range of web-based applications including Marchex, SendGrid, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Bitbucket, GitHub, Honey badger, Network Solutions, and GoDaddy
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related industry
- 2+ years’ experience with designated products or similar industry experience.
- Familiarity with the internet and website usage
- Knowledge of SEO and SEM principles
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Multi-Family Housing experience is preferred.
