Your Role

As a Pricing Consultant, you will perform in-depth analyses of actuarial data, provide recommendations, and develop pricing strategies aligned with RSA’s goals. You will lead the development of pricing models such as risk cost and benchmark models, offering strategic solutions to complex problems while coaching and guiding junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze actuarial data to deliver actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Develop pricing models using internal and external data sources.
  • Create and implement pricing strategies aligned with the UK&I Strategy.
  • Find innovative solutions to strategic problems using advanced techniques.
  • Collaborate across teams to improve operational efficiency.
  • Coach and mentor less experienced team members.

About You

To excel in this role, you should possess strong communication and stakeholder management skills. You should have a solid foundation in mathematics, problem-solving, and pricing model development. Experience with tools like Excel, Emblem, Radar, VBA, or R is beneficial but not mandatory. Above all, you should be a self-starter who can challenge conventional thinking and work effectively as part of a team.
