We are currently recruiting for a Team Leader within Liability Claims to join our established and experienced Chief Operating Office team here at RSA on a hybrid basis.
Your Role:
As our Liability Team Leader you will be responsible for leading, motivating, mentoring, coaching and developing a team comprising of Claim Handlers and Technical Claim Handlers in Commercial Motor Claims within Liability.
You will be leading the performance of the team, setting stretching goals to drive delivery of our business targets, driving a culture of continuous improvement and adherence to Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) guidelines and UK&I Claims Policy.
You will also be responsible for resolving technical and operational queries from team members and complaints as escalated by the team. As well as this you will be involved in the identification and delivery of training needs against the relevant skills and proficiency frameworks and standards.
About You:
To be successful in this role you will need to have experience of good and effective leadership qualities at team leader level within an Insurance based environment. You will also have good influencing skills and ability to manage stakeholders, as well as having good organisational skills.
In addition to this you will also have excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively across teams and with relevant external parties. You will also have experience of developing, coaching, and building high performance teams and improving overall effectiveness. As well as also being commercially astute with demonstrable record of taking accountability for delivery.
