Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent with 12+ years of exp in data and analytics.
Extensive experience leading projects with Databricks, Snowflake, Apache Spark, Apache Iceberg, Apache Hudi and related technologies.
Experience of managing medium to large projects in the data and analytics leveraging technologies (including people management)
Strong understanding of cloud data platforms leveraging AWS or Azure.
Exposure to programming languages like Python, spark, SQL.
Experience in designing and implementing data engineering pipelines and data lakes.
Prior hands on experience on ETL tools like IICS, Matillion, Fivetran
Solid understanding of machine learning and analytics concepts.
Proven experience in project planning, estimation, execution and end to end implementation of data projects
Proficient with various development methodologies like agile & strong understanding of devops principles
Excellent leadership, presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, management
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience in evaluating third-party vendors and technologies for data platforms and services. Ability to manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
Familiarity with data governance, data security, and regulatory compliance is a plus.
Proven ability to meet tight deadlines, multi-task, and prioritize workload
