The Role Responsibilities

Job Role

Provide efficient and high performing ETL solutions in Hadoop ecosystem.
Performing data ingestion and extraction using Hadoop native tools.
Hands on experience in HQL, Spark, PySpark and Python.
Ensure application security by setting up Kerberoisation and able to understand Ranger Policies.
Writing shell scripts for data processing, cleansing and DB connectivity.
Developing / Monitoring control-M jobs.
Writing complex queries in hive for data ingestion and extraction.
Automating the manual tasks and migrating existing ETLs.
Performing end to end test for any Production release.
Co-ordinating production deployments.
Performing postproduction bug fixes, development and support.
Solid knowledge and experience in DevSecOps and Azure DevOps.
Working experience in Agile and Water-fall methodologies.

Our Ideal Candidate

8 years of IT experience.
Experience in Cloudera Hadoop distribution and understanding on SQL engines (Tez, MR).
Experience in Hadoop ecosystem preferably Hive, oozie, Sqoop, yarn, Python, Spark and PySpark.
Min 2 years of experience in designing application solutions in hadoop ecosystem.
Good hands-on in control-M development.
Good understanding of different HDFS file formats (eg Parquet, ORC, Sequence, etc).
Good knowledge in data warehousing system.
Experience in Tableau / Apache Superset – data visualization tools.
Experience in Dremio, Zeppelin and any Hadoop search engines (solar / ES).
Banking domain exposure preferably in AML.
Good communication skill to interact with different multiple teams and end users.
