Role Title: Executive – GFS R&D
Reporting Manager: Senior Manager
Location: Pune
Purpose Of The Role
Provide a high-quality finance support and analysis in the R2R space.
Scope, design, refine and execute reports that inform business priorities and decisions relating to business.
Support and in some instances lead projects to automate various processes
Job Responsibilities
- Process related month end journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Deliver standard and Ad-hoc, streamlined financial reporting.
- Provide high quality financial analytics to the business to enable understanding of the monthly actuals and support achievement of JLR financial objectives.
- Conduct root cause analysis of variances and oversee resolution of issues identified.
- Identify areas for continuous improvement within their sphere of influence and area of expertise.
- Support and in some instances lead projects to streamline and automate the processes, working alongside various members of the wider GFS team.
- Adhere to the policies, controls and governance, including delivering audit evidence requirements and process walk through for internal and external review.
- Leverage findings to uncover actionable insights.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively across teams to drive positive outcomes.
- Be the trusted source of knowledge for questions related to processes.
- Use own initiative taking responsibility of tasks and escalating where appropriate.

Functional Knowledge of Skills (Must Have)
- within the SAP environment
- Professional Accounting qualification essential
- Able to collaborate with a broad variety of stakeholders working across JLR Finance
- Strong numerical, analytical skills
- Continuous improvement ‘mind set’ with the ability to proactively identify issues and resolve.
- Ability to check own work and deliver accurate outputs.
- Able to work with JLR team to plan workload effectively.
- Data analytics or data science aptitude would be advantageous or willingness to develop these skills as we deliver projects.
- Strong Excel experience required.

Educational Qualification
- Graduate/Post-Graduate (Finance and Accounting)/ CA Semi-Qualified
Technical Skill Required
- Minimum of intermediate user of MS Office: Word, PowerPoint and particularly Excel
(VLOOKUP, excel Formulas, Pivot,)
- Working knowledge of SAP
Language Proficiency
- English Essential

- 3 to 10 years (preferred location Pune)
