Job Summary
The OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) Components team within Factory Sustainable Solutions and OEM Components, Business Sector Channel Management & Key Components in PSE is recruiting a Product Support Engineer for the Support Team at the Indian site.
The OEM Components team is responsible for our global product portfolio of OEM components such as pumps, valves, measuring instruments, electrical & automation and integration components. The portfolio thus includes components purchased from selected suppliers. We drive the continuous improvement of the OEM portfolio to ensure competitiveness and to support business strategies whilst complying to Tetra Pak standards and legal requirements.
The position is permanent and based in Chakan, Pune India and you will report to the Manager Support Team.What you will do
- Approve/create/change/delete materials for OEM Components in MDG tool.
- Manage change requests for existing materials related to master data errors/product updates.
- Manage cancellations of existing materials as per suppliers’ and other stakeholders’ input.
- Maintain the product documentation, incl. HYD, TDS and MaSP and ensure Master Data quality.
- Acquire subject knowledge by interviewing suppliers, product owners and engineers, referring to technical specifications, illustrations, schematics.
- Coordinate with suppliers and relevant stakeholders for maintenance instructions, technical data sheets and specifications, certificates, and spare parts, make changes in the system.
- Link correct spare parts and maintenance recommendations in SAP/R3 to created materials.
- First line support on Queries, Issue handling and claims with assured quality.
- Support new assortment introduction activities.
Who you are
- Full Time University bachelor’s degree within engineering in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics or other relevant education, combined with at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Work experience in the field of valves, pumps or electrical and automation systems is preferred.
- Working knowledge of back-office processes and ERP systems (SAP/R3).
- Fluent English knowledge (both written and spoken) and good communication skills.
- Strong MS Office skills, Advance excel skills.
- Passion about technology and working in dynamic environment, independently and as part of a team.
- You are analytical and organized, which makes it easier to create structure and keep track of parallel things.
- Open to change and to learn new tools and ways of working.
- Strong time management skills to deliver on time and with good quality within your areas of responsibility.
