- Supervise/Lead and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including Binning, picking, packing, shipping, and receiving.
- Assist in running an efficient warehouse operation which is able to fulfil operational and production demand and meet set targets.
- Ensure the delivery of materials to production lines in accordance with production schedules
- Monitor and enforce compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) to Warehouse, Packing Operations and accuracy of inventory.
- Oversee inventory management and conduct regular cycle counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Lead Smooth functioning of Good Receipt Process & Invoice Submission along with Documentation, Reconciliation of Vendor Stock as well with export documentation
- Train new Warehouse operatives within area of responsibility
- Collaborate with the quality team to ensure that Accepted /Rejected material flow as per process.
- Secure accurate documentation and system administration for loading and unloading, receiving and issuing, locating, storing, picking of goods and shipping (Raw material/Components/Finished goods)
- Prepare regular reports on warehouse performance, including productivity metrics, inventory levels, and order fulfilment rates.
- Ensure that health and safety meet the required standards and carry out risk assessments while material handling /packing Activities
- Lead/participate in WCM, OHS initiatives, Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement in line with WCM principles
- Develop, implement, and drive the Warehouse Management & Packing strategies to meet cost savings targets.
- Lead coordination/execution of Packing Activities as per guidelines & Continuous Improvement.
- Able to handle Import and export Activities/ Documentation under Normal/Special Scenarios- Knowledge of Import, Export Trade Barries, BIS, Traffic of materials, Bill of Entry etc.
- Lead in Carrier handing, Transport preparation: loading practices, packing to prevent damage.
Profile description:
We believe you have
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and ability to enforce safety protocols.
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including receiving, order fulfilment, and inventory control, Material handling, Packing activities
- Proficiency in Warehouse management ( WMS SAP)
- Proficiency in handling import and export documentation.
- Proficiency in Material Handling /Packing Activities
- Knowledge of Government schemes for tax savings (Advance authorization /EPCG/Bonded Warehouse /Importing county tax saving )
- Strong data analysis skills
- Expertise in MS Office, especially Excel, Powder point
- Knowledge of Inventory Management Systems
- Excellent communication skills, Teamwork, and collaboration skill
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
