High Voltage Controllers (HVC) is an exciting group within TI looking to productize smart power controller products into cutting-edge high-voltage industrial and automotive applications and demonstrate the significant performance benefits of TI’s technologies. What will you be doing in this role? (Responsibilities)

As Validation Lead, you are expected to:

  • Have complete ownership of analog validation for TI’s Digital Power Processor family
  • Lead and own the end to end validation activity
  • Take full responsibility and freedom to drive results against team’s commitments on throughput, product quality, validation, characterization and release to market.
  • To drive the team to create & implement highly optimized test/validation methods.
  • Drive and own complex design and system debugs
  • To ensure close tracking timely closure and documentation of validation plans and reports. Maintain thorough and up-to-date project schedules with all related milestones across all projects.
  • Drive innovation and process improvement in the team.
  • Mentor junior engineer

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience Complex SOC validation with integrated microprocessor is big plus
  • Past experience as technical lead
  • Test plan development based on customer use case scenario and device architecture.
  • Experience with IP validation and verification high speed ADC, DAC, PLL, Analog frontends
  • Experience with complex chip bring up in lab
  • Handy with PCB design, layout, BOM selection
  • Experience with regular lab equipment like, Power-supply, function gen, multimeter, scope. –
  • Experience in test case automation using Python or Perl
  • Experience working with cross functional team like analog design, DV, firmware etc.
