Key Responsibilities

  • Perform synthesis-to-GDSII for ASIC/SoC designs.
  • Execute the full physical design flow, including floorplan, placement, CTS, routing, and ECO.
  • Conduct physical verification to ensure design accuracy and performance.
  • Collaborate with Digital Design and DFT engineers to meet PPA (Power, Performance, and Area) targets.
  • Develop and implement automation processes for debugging and workflow optimization.

Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in physical design.
  • Strong understanding of physical design principles and methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with floorplanning, placement, CTS, routing, ECO, and physical verification.
  • Proficiency in back-end design tools such as Cadence Genus, Innovus, Tempus, and Voltus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
