POSITION SUMMARY
The Candidate will be assigned to projects in one or more areas of Product Design / Structural Analysis / Flight Technology / Product Support. The candidate is expected to work under the supervision of a mentor who will provide the work assignments. Daily responsibilities may include research and trade studies, developing design concepts, performance calculations , structural analysis , Structural Dynamics analysis using commercial / In-house FE codes for product support. The engineer is expected to come-up with recommendations for improvements on the assigned work in a time-bound manner.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will demonstrate basic understanding of the following:
· Interpretation of Mechanical drawings
· Solid Modeling using CAD package
· Common fabrication and assembly processes
· Basic understanding of Aircraft structures design
· Basic understanding of Structural analysis
· Principles of flight and structural dynamics
· Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
