The Data Analytics Team Lead will work with a team of COPD developers to build, maintain, and automate processes to assist regional, and global operations. The role would require large collaboration with other team members and collaborators. They need to be a big-picture thinker and strategic partner. They also need to demonstrate analytical thinking through data-driven decisions and possess the technical know-how, fascination and ability to work with your team to make a huge impact. The Team Lead will also be encouraged to understand, translate operationally and fulfill collaborator requests using available resources, and provide coaching and mentorship to the analysts under their team.
Basic Qualifications:
3+ years of work experience in Analytics/ Business Intelligence/ Statistical analysis or related experience is required
Outstanding JavaScript knowledge with strong SQL background
Demonstrable understanding in Python/R or similar programming languages.
Proficient in one or more visualization tools (e.g. Data Studio, Tableau, Power BI etc.)
Good communication skills and attention to detail; accuracy is a must!
Ability to lead multiple stakeholders across multiple functions
Ability to handle projects right from ideation to final execution
Define, create, improve, and automate reporting methods
Proactively develop new KPIs/metrics to identify trends, generate insights and add value to our partners
Work with different teams and business partners to understand the “Why?” in addition to the “What?” behind Uber’s biggest challenges
Ability to create, supervise views on task management tools like JIRA, Asana to drive team utilization
Preferred experience of directly or indirectly handling or mentoring teams and develop a cohesive and creative work environment
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of People management experience will be a plus.
What will the candidate do:
To mentor team members and act as an SME in sharing the knowledge at scale within the team/org
Manage a team of COPD analysts to deliver output to the partners, proven by Metrics: OSAT, UMS, Jira Scores
Coordinate with other members of the Community Operations team across the Globe to measure the impact and efficiency of new products and business processes
Timely implementation and completion of the assigned deliverables. End-to-end involvement in the projects with the stakeholders from idea creation to delivery & impact realization.
Timely, on point, professional, and proactive communication and collaboration with internal and external collaborators. Provide key insights, recommendations proactively and be a thought partner
Be a thought partner and handle projects independently of conceptualisation to delivery
Drive analysis on projects and important strategic decisions, improving the experience for our internal customers
