Core Responsibilities
Credit Appraisal
§ Appraisal of the Project Finance proposals involving detailed analysis of Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Financial Ratios, Cash Flows, Management Risk, Industry Risk, Economic conditions
§ Detailed Financial analysis including finalization of financial model
§ Preparation of Credit Approval Memorandum and following internal approval processes
§ Documentation and Compliance
§ Meet with all pre-disbursal and post disbursal compliance
§ To maintain high quality standards of documentation, client communication, process compliance, ongoing basis with product partners / OSD / Risk Management and other Relationship Management group
Market Research
§ Illustrates understanding of Market / industry / sector in which the Project is being set up and current market conditions through primary and secondary research.
§ Sector tracking / management presentations;
Monitoring of Project
§ Tracking of covenants and management of exceptions / deviations
§ Regular review of the case
§ Inspections / Site visits Sector assessment
Risk and Internal Control Responsibilities
§ Identifies & assesses the key operational, regulatory, financial, informational, reputational and audit risks as well as areas where internal controls need to be established within the division.
§ Fosters a culture of adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements associated with the division. Addresses critical escalations highlighted during audits.
