ROLE SUMMARY
The role holder is responsible for managing the sales for the suite of CMS Retail across the spectrum of Bank’s clients in a select location / region and meeting the agreed revenue targets (liability & fee), and associated through puts acquisition of new to bank clients with a focus to grow the CMS & Capital Markets management revenues
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ ACCOUNTABILITIES
Strategic/ Managerial Responsibilities
PSM will be coordinating with SME and TASC sales teams on the ground including their Channel team and will be responsible for CMS Business generation from SME and TASC clients.
This is an Individual PSM role covering Pan India SME and TASC team & will be carrying CMS targets from these segments
Core Responsibilities
- Ensuring the steady flow of CMS management services business.
- Ensuring that client servicing is appropriate and consistently maintained at a high level.
- Coordinating with Relationship team for enabling CMS Facility to NTB/ Existing clients of the bank
- Meeting agreed revenue targets for CMS & Capital Markets management business.
- Meeting agreed targets with respect to new client acquisitions.
- Conduct training and update the business Groups on new product in TBG- CMS from time to time
- Formulating and implementing processes for specific CMS & Capital Markets transactions wherever applicable.
- Regularly liaising with internal and external contacts to promote banks CMS & Capital Markets services business.
- Provide necessary MIS / Management update.
People Management or Self-Management Responsibilities
- Defines performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the reporting manager and ensures that the goals are monitored and achieved during the course of the year.
- Undertake training of the relationship teams wherever necessary to promote CMS & Capital Markets products
Risk and Internal Control Responsibilities
- Follows risk policy and processes to mitigate the operational, regulatory, financial, informational, and reputational and audit risks as instructed by the departmental manager.
- Executes the established internal control systems and compiles relevant information for departmental audits, as necessary.
Key Internal Interactions
Product Team
- Discussing unique market requirement and solutions
- Taking part in new product development as per the market requirements
Relationship Managers
Work with business RMs for procuring, deepening relationships for CMS and Capital markets
Operations
- For new setup and on-boarding new mandates
- Continuous engagement to ensure seamless transactions
Clients
Meeting existing and new set of clients for procuring, deepening relationships for CMS and Capital markets and thereby enhancing the CASA book size.
Vendors/Aggregators
On-boarding vendors and aggregators with the help of product partners to meet the client’s requirements.
KNOWLEDGE
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any field
- Master’s degree in MBA – Finance / CA is preferred
Language Skills
Written and spoken English is essential
EXPERIENCE
Years of Experience
- 4-10yrs of Experience
- Preferred experience in Branch domain as BRL/ Branch Manager with relevant CMS product knowledge
Nature of Experience
At least 3 – 4 years of relevant experience in CMS
