Role Overview

As a Jira Confluence Admin, you will be responsible for configuring and maintaining multiple Jira projects, workflows, schemes, and permissions. You will also support technical teams, conduct requirement analysis, and enhance Jira security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain Jira projects, workflows, and permissions.
  • Manage Jira/Confluence filters, dashboards, and reports.
  • Test new versions of tools and plug-ins for compatibility.
  • Support technical users and conduct requirement analysis.
  • Enhance Jira security and manage access permissions.
  • Provide training on Atlassian tools to teams.
  • Create custom dashboards and generate reports.

Required Technical Expertise

  • 7-10 years of experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Jira Service Manager, Confluence).
  • Experience with Cloud Instance and AWS Datacenter.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian Marketplace add-ons like Qmetry and Script Runner.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation (Bash, Python, etc.).
  • Experience with Jira-to-Jira and Confluence-to-Confluence migrations.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience automating manual tasks.
  • Knowledge of Agile processes and tools like ADO.
  • Experience with identity management, SSO, and license management.
